Features to know about

Built for Heavy Loads and Hard Use: 6,005-lb Capacity Steel Wheel

This 17-1/2" x 6-3/4" modular wheel is all business when it comes to strength. With a 6,005-lb capacity, an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern, and a +0.5" offset, it’s made for serious weight handling. The hub-piloted design centers on the hub for a secure, balanced fit every time, giving you the confidence to haul heavy loads without compromise.

Corrosion Protection that Lasts: 3-Step Black Powder Coat Finish

Rust and road grime don’t stand a chance against the wheel’s triple-layer coating system. It starts with a zinc phosphate bath for paint adhesion, followed by an acrylic e-coat primer, then finished on both sides with baked-on DuPont black powder paint. The result is a durable finish that holds up through heat, moisture, and repeated use while staying sharp and clean.

Reliable Fitment with Hub-Piloted Design: Flange Nuts for Secure Mounting

This wheel uses a hub-piloted setup that centers on the hub—not the lugs—to keep things tight and true under load. It requires flange nuts (sold separately) for installation, just like heavy-duty commercial wheels. That design helps maintain a precise fit that stays put mile after mile.

Made to Keep You Moving: Built to SAE J1204 Standards

Every wheel meets SAE J1204 standards, so you know it’s built to handle real-world stresses. Whether you’re on long hauls or steady daily towing, this heavy-duty steel rim delivers the toughness and consistency you can count on—without extra fuss or worry.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Video Transcript for Feature Review Americana Modular Wheel w/ +0.5 Offset

Hello neighbors and friends. Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at the Americana modular wheel with a 0.5 inch offset. It's 17.5 in diameter by 6 3/4 inches, and it's an eight lug on 6.5 inch lug pattern. Now folks, this heavy-duty steel wheel with the modular design, modular meaning these circles here, is sturdy and corrosion-resistant. It is designed for use on trucks, buses, and trailers.

It has a nice three-step finishing process, which includes a zinc phosphate bath, then an e-coat primer, and finally finishing up with a black powder coat on both sides of the wheel. It's also what we call a hub-piloted wheel, so that means it requires the use of flange nuts, which are sold separately, to install this correctly on your hub. Now, as I mentioned, it's 17.5 inches in diameter by 6 3/4 inches, and it has again, a pilot hole diameter of 4.76 inches. Now the offset, again, is a positive 0.5 inch or a half inch, and that just means that the hub mounting surface is located on the front half of the wheel closer to that wheel face. Has a nice two-year limited warranty from the manufacturer and it is used for trailers with disc brakes.

So very nice product here by Americana. This again is the modular wheel, eight lug 6.5 inch. Again, you need flange nuts to install this correctly. Folks, that's gonna wrap it up. I'm Steven., thanks for looking with me.
